The new world [r]evolution
This thesis project is strictly a vision of a dystopian future and a though-provoking project based on real- life circumstances such as; political polarisation through social media, invasion of privacy for commercial and political use, the implementation of social credit system, privatised cities and corporate iconicity in global cities.

The design project took on a speculative approach of the future where automation and artificial intelligence are at its mature state. The pace of technological change became faster than people are capable to adapt. The widespread deployment of Artificial Intelligence brings great depression level of unemployment and violent as these technologies are making millions of jobs obsolete forcing competition in wage return with the robots.

Set in year 2049, in the decaying City of London as the society struggled, The Company forged a new world for the distressed community advertised as a promised land for job stability and exclusive lifestyle. As the technological power unites while countries are falling apart, they grant The Company political autonomy in exchange of a promised profit share to the government. Through powerful technological and medical intervention, The Company gained state control over the population.

The design drew aspiration form Brave New World and 1984, where The Company became the system. People are enslaved and controlled to unimaginable extend; leisure and freedom became a crime and manifested as sins. The Settlers were exploited for the means of production.

The term Revolution came occurred within the system, known as the resistance. An architectural intervention that encompasses unauthorised activities inspired by The Seven Deadly Sins acting as social condensers to realise what it means to be human again. They designed these interventions to be mobile, flexible and discreet to function without the knowledge from The System.
